In the giclee process, your original artwork is reproduced as close as possible to the original. The giggle reproduction process can be done by on of three ways listed below.

1. Giclee Prints From your Digital File
You provide your own digital file (300 dpi) and if possible a sample print of how you want the image to look. (monitors vary from screen to screen) this gives us something to match to. This also speeds the process because we don’t have to print as many proofs).

2. Giclee Prints From Your Transparency
Another option you have is to provide us with a transparency (4x5 or 8x10) taken by professional photographers.

3. Giclee Prints From Your Original Art
You provide us with your original art and we will transfer it to a digital format or transparency. We will use Adobe Photoshop to clean up the files and color correct to match the image on your screen to your original art.

- We then print a small proof to be sure everything matches your original art. If adjustment
  are needed, we will run another approval before running the full sized print.
- One we receive your approval we will print out the image at your requested size.
- The proof will either be shippted to you or you can come by our shop.
- We will archive the color corrected file of our art for future printing. You can call or email us
  for reprints.

 
Protective Coating
All August Art Giglee products are printed with pigmented inks on water resistant cavas and sealed with August Art U.V coating.

Stretching
All August Art Giclee printing will be put onto stretcher bar unless the customers chooses not too.
